#WhyIVote Action Launched

Womens March Aotearoa New Zealand have an exciting new campaign that we hope you can help us with. We want to know why you vote to inspire others to vote in the New Zealand 2017 election with the #WhyIVote Action launched.

The women of Aotearoa New Zealand have had the right to vote for almost 125 years, but during the 2014 general election only two thirds of those aged 18 to 29 voted.

We want to change that. Women deserve and need to make their voices heard.

So this election let’s make all our votes count.

Nga mihi,
Women’s March Aotearoa New Zealand

Hear Our Voices

Women’s March Aotearoa New Zealand needs your help to inspire more women to vote. So we’d like you to tell us why you vote:

Film a 10-15 second video telling us why you vote (shot in landscape, clear with good sound).

We’ll compile a selection of submissions into a short video to be shared on Women’s March social media.

Raise your voice and inspire others to vote!
